Accessories Shop
Accessories is a synonym that has many meanings. For example, it can be an accessory in the house such as a lamp, pillow and etc., but an accessory can also be something you wear. Actually, I want you to interpret the word grandly.
Rings of light
After I learned about people with nyctophobia, the fear of the dark, I began to think about how light could comfort them. I wanted to create something that could always be with them, without relying on large lamps or devices. A ring seemed perfect: small, portable, and personal. The idea of making a constantly glowing ring arose from the thought that such a thing is not only practical but can also provide comfort in dark moments. It was my way of bringing a bit of light and safety closer to them.
The ring must provide sufficient space for the battery and the LED system. This means that the thickness should be at least approximately 5-7 mm. For smaller batteries, the ring can be slightly thinner, but that will result in a shorter battery life. The height of the ring depends on the size of the battery and the LED setup. A height of 2-4 mm on top of the standard ring height is likely sufficient for the LED components. A wider ring, about 6-8 mm, can help to neatly accommodate everything in the casing without feeling too heavy. There are ultra-thin, flexible batteries that are specially designed for wearables like rings or small gadgets. These can be bent to fit into the ring. If you are using an LED strip, it is likely a flexible nano-LED strip, as these are small enough for a ring design. The ring can be charged via a wireless charging station.
T-Shirt
For this design, I created a unique print for a T-shirt. The design combines personal elements, such as a subtle reference to my name, with my passion for architecture. It is built around large, mirrored letters 'P', which are centrally placed on the back of the shirt. The clean lines and geometric layout of the design evoke associations with blueprints and architectural structures, creating a direct link to my interest and background in architecture. The use of black-and-white contrasts emphasizes the graphic quality of the design and gives it a timeless appeal. This makes the T-shirt not just a fashion item, but also a statement that brings together design and personality.
Expanding pulley lamp
This represents an expanding disk. In turning sheave d to the right or left, a similar motion is exerted on wheel c, which, by means of curved slots in it, pushes out or inward the studs attached to the arms of the pulley, thus increasing or reduced. of the disk.
Rem Koolhaas lamp
A self-designed lamp based on the work of Rem Koolhaas. That was the sentence with which I started designing this lamp. I looked at his design and construction techniques. These points are incorporated into the lamp.
When designing this lamp, I looked at his style, design and construction techniques, and I discovered that when he designs a building, the skeleton is made as before and the windows are literally placed on top. I also wanted to apply this by first make a skeleton and then simply place glass behind it so that the skeleton remains visible. I chose square windows because most of the buildings he designed have this shape. In the Netherlands his architectural style is seen as a postmodernist style. In my first version I used an LED strip that I ran criss-cross through the lamp. I later replaced this with an LED lamp that is in the middle.
Remment Lucas Koolhaas born in Rotterdam, November 17, 1944 is a Dutch architect. Rem Koolhaas founded the Office for Metropolitan Architecture in 1975 together with Elia and Zoe Zenghelis and Madelon Vriesendorp. After working as a journalist and screenwriter before becoming an architect, Koolhaas graduated from the Architectural Association in London. In 1995, his book S,M,L,XL summarized OMA's work and made connections between contemporary society and architecture. He offers a truly unique perspective that focuses on changing urban conditions around the world and the role of retail and consumption in today's society.
Fire % Metal
Is it fire or is it metal, is it against each other or is it with each other. These are questions that this art object should raise. Both materials have their own properties and this can be in both a negative and positive sense.
In traditional Chinese philosophy, five elements are distinguished. The Chinese use this as a classification for all natural phenomena. The five elements are applied in Feng shui, astrology, traditional Chinese medicine, music, martial arts and military decisions. The elements are also associated with emotions, tastes, colors, organs and cardinal directions. Each season is influenced by an element, with the Chinese considering late summer as the fifth (Earth) season. In Japanese philosophy, Earth, Water, Fire, Wind and Void are considered the five elements.
The difference between fire and metal is that metal is materialistic and tangible, while fire is not touchable. Metal is also not mobile, while if you heat metal with fire it becomes liquid, making it mobile. But if you make it in a special form you can get it moving, think of gears for example, that's why I designed a coastal object that seems to move because it looks like a flame and when you think about fire it only moves when you think about gears that moves too.
